Aito amerikkalainen suklaakakku:
Preheat the oven to 180. Butter and flour your cake pans. Generally this recipe makes two 8 or 9 inch layers so I just adapt the recipe if I’m doing more or less. Put all of the ingredients into the bowl together and beat with a mixer at low speed for 30 seconds. Then beat on high speed for 3 minutes. Pour into the pans and put in the oven.
It usually takes about 30-35 minutes for the layers. I normally poke a toothpick in the center to see if it comes out clean and also look to see that the cake is coming away from the sides a bit to know when it is done.
